Marco A. López, Jr. is the Founder and CEO of Intermestic Partners and Intermestic Capital. He became one of the youngest mayors in U.S. history at 21 in Nogales, Arizona, served as Director of the Arizona Department of Commerce (now the Arizona Commerce Authority) under Governor Napolitano, and served as Chief of Staff at U.S. Customs and Border Protection under President Obama — overseeing a $13 billion budget and 60,000 personnel. In the private sector, his work has connected over one million low-income families to broadband and is on track to create 16,000 jobs in Arizona. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a Senior Advisor to the Carlos Slim Foundation.
